I forgot to add in the docent hours (2) from last weds.

3 hours searching for ceramics with similar fish net design as the teacup
found one for sale online and finally another one in a book
2 hours researched on google books any information on spade fans and the teacup
2 hours trying to find information on trade beads, trying to determine what kind of nut was used on the necklace in the collection
2 hours finding books in the library
2.5 hours organizing the information

lab hours

2.5 hours online research of artifacts. I found historical information in a google book that related to the tea trade that leads me to rule out that the tea cup was from a "chief" in the South Pacific, due to the information… I haven't found a similar tea cup online from Japan.

I found similar wood beads, but not glass beads.
