3 hours searching for ceramics with similar fish net design as the teacup
found one for sale online and finally another one in a book

2 hours trying to find information on trade beads, trying to determine what kind of nut was used on the necklace in the collection

lab hours
2.5 hours online research of artifacts. I found historical information in a google book that related to the tea trade that leads me to rule out that the tea cup was from a "chief" in the South Pacific, due to the information… I haven't found a similar tea cup online from Japan.
I found similar wood beads, but not glass beads.
